Finance Systems Analyst (Sydney)

 
 

The challenge

Throughout Forums rapid growth we have acquired a number of businesses. The acquisitions have resulted in the adoption of a number of bespoke systems which now need to be merged in to a single commercial off the shelf solution. This is part of the Forum Towards 2020 digital transformation project.

Your challenge as the Finance Systems Analyst will be to lead the gathering of requirements and implementation of an enterprise resource planning system that will enable Forum to consolidate and rationalise its current business systems and transform the way financial data is collected and used across the business.

 
 

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a talented person with a technical and financial background to inform the future direction of the finance data and reporting systems at Forum. Your competency in business analysis, combined with your experience in project management will enable you to make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the Forum business.

 
 

What we’ll need you to do

  • Support and maintain financial information technology (IT) system, including implementing new solutions and upgrades

  • Integrate systems, including transforming data and troubleshooting common tasks

  • Document standard processes and common problems to ensure continuous improvement

  • Troubleshoot problems, resolve system issues, and improve overall data quality and system use

  • Work with users to minimise disruptions and encourage full use and adoption of the system

 

What you’ll bring

  • CPA qualified or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge and experience in finance and reporting solutions

  • Strong scheduling skills to manage the necessary logistical activities required to provide an exceptional customer experience for product roll-out

  • Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks, with a working knowledge of project co-ordination and order processing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail

  • Confidence in building rapport with key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to think under pressure

  • Enjoy working as part of a small busy team managing multiple projects
